Banana almond overnight quinoa is a really quick, easy and delicious bowl of nutrition to get you started first thing in the morning.

Ingredients

  • 30 g cooked quinoa*
  • 150 ml Greek yogurt 0% fat
  • 2 tablespoon skimmed milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 sliced banana
  • 2 tablespoon flaked almonds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix well to combine everything. Ensure the sliced bananas are submerged in the mixture, this keeps them fresher.
  • Cover and place in the fridge overnight.
  • Remove from the fridge in the morning and enjoy!

Notes

*You can cook 30g of rinsed quinoa in 150ml of water which only takes about 20 minutes
