Pre-heat oven to 200C. Lightly coat a baking tray with cooking oil spray or rub some olive oil over the surface.
Place all of the meatball ingredients into a large mixing bowl, season and using your hands mix everything together. Then mix in flour which will help to bind the recipe. You may not need as much as the 3 tablespoons.
Using your hands form 12 balls out of the Quorn meatball mixture and place them onto the baking tray spaced slightly apart.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Meanwhile make the tomato sauce.*
Making the tomato sauce: -
Gently heat the olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion. Once its starting to brown add the crushed garlic and stir everything together for a couple of minutes.
Add the can of chopped tomatoes and stir well. Bring the mixture to the boil.
Add the basil and tomato puree.
Season to taste and turn down to simmer for 5 minutes.
Check on your meatballs and once they are cooked through place them in the pan and combine them with the sauce.
Serve your Quorn meatballs and tomato sauce.
