📋 Easy Lamb Mince Curry

1 tablespoon vegetable oil 2 large onions diced 1 tablespoon ginger and garlic paste ½ teaspoon turmeric ½ teaspoon red chilli powder ½ teaspoon ground cumin powder 1 teaspoon garam masala ¼ teaspoon chilli flakes 2 tablespoon tomato puree 500 g Reduced Fat Lamb mince less than 20% fat Freshly Ground Salt and Black Pepper 120 g frozen peas Freshly Chopped Coriander optional garnish
Gently heat the oil in large pan and sauté the onion until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Then stir in the ginger and garlic paste cooking for a further minute.
Add the spices and tomato puree and cook for another minute.
Add the lamb mince in batches and cook, breaking up the mince with a wooden spoon for about 6-7 minutes until cooked through. Season to taste.
Stir in the frozen peas and cook through, about 5 minutes.
Serve with plain basmati rice, naan breads or chapati, garnished with the chopped coriander.
