📋 Easy Slow Cooker Scotch Broth

- 50 g pearl barley washed and drained
- 50 g green split peas washed and drained
- 1 onion peeled and diced
- 100 g carrots peeled and diced
- 80 g turnip peeled and diced
- 1 stalk celery diced
- 1 small leek sliced
- 750 ml Lamb Stock
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoon parsley freshly chopped
Pre-soak the pearl barley and green split peas overnight. Then drain.
Place all the prepared vegetables in slow cooker and pour over lamb stock. Stir well together.
Cook on low for 5 - 6 hours.
Just before serving season to taste and stir in the parsley.
