Healthy raisin oat cookies. Soft, chewy, and easy to make. These healthier simple oatmeal raisin cookies are naturally sweetened and perfect snacks.

These raisin oat cookies (or oat biscuits as we’d call them in the UK) are the perfect everyday treat!

Packed with wholesome oats and juicy raisins, they’re a simple bake that you can enjoy guilt-free.

Made similar to my popular lemon oat cookies recipe they're naturally sweetened and lower in sugar than typical raisin oat biscuits. This makes them a great option for a healthier snack.

Simple to make, these raisin cookies are made using everyday storecupboard ingredients and can be ready in just over 30 minutes. Ideal for unexpected guests popping round!

What's more there’s no complicated steps and little washing up. Just mix the ingredients, shape, and bake. And Voilà!

Overhead view of a plate of raisin oat cookies, stacked. Along side a cup of tea and a dish of raisins.

I created these as a healthier twist on traditional oatmeal raisin cookies which are typically heavy in sugar, but didn't want to lose that classic comforting flavour.

The result is a soft, chewy cookie that still feels like a treat. Like many of my recipes, these healthy oat and raisin cookies are all about balance and fit into the 80/20 eating rule perfectly.

Using oats and wholemeal flour gives these cookies a lovely texture and also helps keep you fuller for longer.

Combined with juicy raisins, every bite is packed with flavour and goodness.

These cookies are great for batch baking and store in a sealed container for up to a week. That makes them ideal for lunchboxes, afternoon snacks, or even a quick breakfast on the go.

I seriously recommend pairing these raisin oat cookies with a hot drink like a cup of tea or coffee and taking some time out of your day for yourself!

Once you try these healthy raisin oat cookies, they're sure to become a staple in your home. Plus they’re proof that simple, wholesome baking can taste just as good as the classic versions!

I do like oat biscuits but i'd have to use sultanas rather than raisins! Of course as it has been Anzac Day here recently, everyone has been making them. They are basically oat biscuits as you probably know. I bet these are delicious!
      cheers

Thanks Sherry, good to hear from you! Yes, you can absolutely swap the raisins for sultanas if that’s your preference, they’d work just as well 😊 And yes, they do have a lovely similar feel to Anzac biscuits, which is probably why they’re so moreish too. Hope you get a chance to give them a try!
