This must be right if I'm going by just how popular you thought my chocolate chip banana coconut porridge was!
That porridge was a hit, and I have no doubt this smoothie bowl will be just as loved. Try it out and see for yourself!
As I've said many times before, I always get inspiration for my recipes from places we've been lucky enough to travel to.
This year in June we were in Bali and stayed at The Oberoi.
They had this chocolate smoothie bowl on their breakfast menu and both my other half and I just loved it!
I knew I had to take note of it so I could recreate my version of it for you guys on our return.
Here's an actual picture of the peanut butter chocolate banana smoothie bowl breakfast I enjoyed in Bali!
I'm not sure if it was as healthy as my version, but it was just as delicious!
The original might have been tasty, but my recipe ensures you get all the goodness without compromising on flavour.
This smoothie bowl is just so filling and so full of good nutrition that it's the perfect way to start the day.
Every spoonful provides a balance of essential nutrients, making it an ideal breakfast option.
My delicious peanut butter chocolate banana smoothie bowl is made with all natural-ingredients too.
It doesn't contain added protein powders, flavourings or preservatives as you might find in other so called "healthy smoothie bowls" on the internet!
You can enjoy this smoothie bowl knowing it's wholesome and made with care.
Try it out and feel the difference!
I'll be honest here with you too folks. I don't remember actually EVER having had a smoothie bowl before having this one on holiday.
My other half had it first one morning and I watched her eat it, closing her eyes, savouring and enjoying every mouthful.
She told me I would love it and kept her bowl back from me, not allowing me to taste any. Ha ha!
I'm glad I ordered my own peanut butter chocolate banana smoothie bowl the very next morning.
How else can I describe the taste other than it was creamy, full of flavour and downright delicious and refreshing too!
Since then I've been discovering how versatile smoothie bowls are.
As they only take 5 minutes to make you can enjoy them at virtually any time of the day and not just for breakfast.
They can make a delcious fruit filled healthy dessert for kids too!

I love recreating recipes based on things we tried while on vacation! Travel really seems to inspire me to try new things. Speaking of new things, I'm glad you came home and tried your hand at this smoothie bowl! It looks delicious, and peanut butter + chocolate really is a great combination. I can see why Lady Lynne didn't want to share!!
Neil
It's like they say David "travel broadends the mind". And not only that, for us, travel broadens our kitchen recipe ideas! ๐

Wow, Neil, this is such a great breakfast combo, chocolate and peanut butter, absolutely delicious. I love how easy it is to make too, looks amazing.
Neil
Thanks Ashika, there's nothing quite like starting your day with chocolate and peanut butter! Ha ha! ๐
Jeff the Chef
That smoothie bowl looks so thick and decadent, but I love that it's made with Greek yogurt, which I eat all the time. I also think the Bali bowl looks good, but yours looks more like comfort food to me.
Neil
Thanks Jeff. The Bali bowl was topped with Granola too but the bits annoyed me. I just wanted chunks of fruit in mine. Each to their own I suppose! ๐
Easyfoodsmith
Love every single element in that smoothie bowl. You made me drool ?
Neil
Thanks! It's a breakfast worth drooling over. ๐
Laura
All my favorites here, Neil! I love anything peanut butter + banana! Canโt wait to give this a try!
Neil
Thanks Laura. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did, and then again as much as I did re-making it and eating several bowls of it to get it right! ๐
Matt - Total Feasts
I absolutely love peanut butter, but my other half can't stand it. Luckily I've been indoctrinating my kids to like it! I bet they would devour one of these bowls (or at least split between them), thanks for sharing!
Neil
That's good that you are indoctrinating the kids to liking peanut butter Matt. I wish I'd liked it at an early age but my love of it really didn't start until I was in my 20's. Now I can't get enough of it! Maybe there's still time for your other half to come to like it though? Thanks for your comment! ๐
Choclette
What a way to start the day. On holiday or at home. Looks so good.
Neil
Thanks Choclette. It was a wickedly tasting breakfast in Bali and I'm so glad I was able to re-create it back home!
