This strawberry sunrise smoothie will give you that energy boost you need to help wake you up in the morning. Nutritious, delicious and packed full of vitamin C its sure to give you that extra glow!
Folks, I know you're just going to love the refreshing start to the day that this strawberry smoothie will give you!
Recently I had load of strawberries, and a pineapple leftover, and I came up with this, which I aptly named a strawberry sunrise smoothie.
I love when I can get my hands on good quality tasty fresh fruits, or maybe have surplus left in the fridge.
It gives me the inspiration to experiment in my kitchen to see what kinds of interesting tastes and nutritional smoothie combinations I can come up with.
It was a Saturday (hurrah for the weekend!) when I decided I wanted a delicious strawberry smoothie, but one with a difference.
So I thought I would try out a few strawberry smoothie combinations.
I added a banana to sweeten the strawberry smoothie recipe up and also added some apple juice for some extra zing too.
Thus this strawberry sunrise smoothie was born and quite delicious it is too!
High in potassium (helps to lower blood pressure), vitamin C (helps to protect against immune system deficiencies) and being an excellent source of dietary fibre this is one great smoothie to help you feel good from the inside out!

Sounds delicious! Would you recommend using a single serving blender (like the Magic Bullet), or will any food processor work?
