Well folks as we're in summer now I thought I'd bring you my 4 easy healthy dips!
These are easy dips to make and are my tried and tested dip recipes. Always made in advance for guests or as appetisers when I'm entertaining!
It's great to have a few dip recipes up your sleeve. These easy healthy dips below can be put together quickly.
Better still, if you make them the night before, then they've plenty of time to marinate their individual flavours together making them even more tasty!
Starting from top left in the main featured image above :-
1) Low Fat Tzatziki Dip
Made from 0% fat Greek yogurt with just the very minimal amount of olive oil required, this low fat tzatziki dip is probably the simplest of the 4 easy healthy dips to make.
This healthier tzatziki tastes just as delicious as the original, but with less calories and fat.
The longer you leave it in the fridge the better! Serve with your chosen veggies as crudities or use as a sauce with grilled meats or fish.
2) Low Fat Red Pesto Dip
Top right, basically with this low fat red pesto dip recipe you put all of the ingredients into a food processor / blender, blitz them up, season to taste and that's it!
This red pesto dip has a unique, tasty "tangy" flavour and is sure to be a hit!
With all the goodness of sun dried tomatoes, pine nuts and freshly squeezed lemon juice it's perfect for mixing in with pasta too!
3) Low Fat Roasted Red Pepper Dip
Bottom left, the delicious and healthy low fat roasted red pepper dip comes in at a low 92 calories per serving with a whopping 116% recommended daily vitamin C!
The low fat roasted red pepper dip has a deep and rich flavour.
It's made from peppers, chickpeas, herbs and spices and is a perfect tasty addition to any party or picnic spread.
4) Low Fat Hummus Dip
Finally, bottom right I'm sure that you recognise that one? Yep classic hummus! But here, this low fat hummus dip isn't like the ones you'll get shop bought.
Made from only 4 ingredients with salt and pepper to season, this delicious, creamy and thick hummus dip is one you'll not want to miss from your easy healthy dips serving.
I don't use tahini in my hummus dip recipe in order to keep it as low fat and healthy as possible. I think it tastes superb the way it is!

We haven't bough dips in years, as they are just so east to make at home. Roasted red pepper is always a favourite with us, as is hummus of course.
neil@neilshealthymeals.com
Absolutely and the home made ones last ages in the fridge too! Plus I can't believe all the crap they put in shop bought dips. I mean if you compare my minimal ingredients Hummus to the list of ingredients on a shop bought one it's unbelievable! ????

I'm a huge dipper lover! Tzatiki is one of my favorite dips but for some reason I never think to make it at home.
neil@neilshealthymeals.com
Mmmmm I love Tzatziki too Megan. I think you would love this version. So quick to make!????

Hi Shashi thanks for your kind comments, I'm so glad that you like my homemade dips! ????
Yeah it's been so challenging to fit work and blogging together that something had to give so it's going to be one weekly post for a while. And I've got some SEO stuff I need to do too.
Oh well there's never a dull moment eh? Fun in Oban though! ????
