    Ingredients

Slow cooker banana porridge ingredients laid out on a table.
    • Cooking oil spray
    • Rolled oats - only used rolled porridge oats do not use instant oats.
    • Semi-skimmed milk - you can use whole milk, but I find it overly heavy.
    • Medium sized ripe bananas - naturally sweetens and thickens the porridge.
    • Chia seeds - gives extra fibre, protein, and helps to 'bulk" up the texture.
    • Vanilla essence - adds a little more flavour.
