Spinach and feta naan pizza on a black slate. Pin title text overlay at top.

Spinach and feta naan pizza is a delicious and easy to make flatbread pizza that only takes 10 minutes to prep and 10 minutes to cook. Ideal for those busy weeknights!

If you love the combination of spinach and feta then you'll love this tasty spinach and feta naan pizza recipe.

Just like with my vegetarian naan pizza I've used shop bought naan bread in this recipe to keep it nice and simple.

You can pretty much use any kind of flatbread here to make these spinach and feta pizzas. See the substitution list below for other possible options.

It's also perfectly possible to use the topping from this recipe on a pizza base.

If you have time and want to make your own homemade pizza dough then you could use the pizza base part of my homemade pizza recipe.

Or if you want to make your own naan breads then follow my homemade naan bread recipe.

You can easily have these naan bread pizzas for lunch or for dinner.

These spinach and feta naan pizzas are the ultimate comfort food made with as little fuss as possible.

If you don't want to eat the whole pizza, to make them go further you could serve half with a light green salad.

Or for a party how about serving up slices to your guests as an hors d'oeuvre?

If it's a Friday night sitting in front of the TV or watching a football match then these flatbread pizzas fit the bill.

However you choose to have them this naan pizza recipe really is that versatile!

    Ingredients

Spinach and feta naan pizza ingredients laid out on a table.
    • Naan Breads
    • Garlic Cloves
    • Mozzarella Cheese
    • Fresh Spinach
    • Onion
    • Feta Cheese
    • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    • Freshly Grated Salt And Black Pepper

    See recipe card for quantities.

    Step By Step Instructions

Detailed instructions are in the recipe card below. But here is a quick step by step guide of how to make these spinach and feta flatbreads:

A naan bread laid out on a baking tray.

    Step 1 & 2

    • Preheat oven to 180C Fan.
    • Place Naan bread on a baking tray / baking sheet.
Naan bread on a baking tray sprinkled with garlic, mozzarella, spinach, onion and feta cheese.

    Step 3

    • Sprinkle garlic, mozzarella, spinach, onion and feta cheese on top.
Spinach and feta naan pizza covered with topping and drizzled with a little olive oil. Ready to go into the oven.

    Step 4

    • Drizzle with olive oil and season.
A baked spinach and feta naan pizza removed from the oven.

    Step 5

    • Bake for 8-10 minutes (oven times may vary) until the cheese has melted and Naan bread has turned golden around the edges.

    Substitutions

    • Naan Breads - use plain or garlic store bought naan breads. Other flatbreads like pita breads also work as does Focaccia.
    • Garlic Cloves - you can also use garlic powder.
    • Mozzarella Cheese - I use full fat grated mozzarella cheese as it melts better.
    • Fresh Spinach - I prefer fresh spinach but you can also use frozen that has thawed and had the water squeezed out of it.
    • Onion - I use a white onion but you can also use a red onion too.
    • Feta Cheese
    • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    • Freshly Grated Salt And Black Pepper

I like to use flatbread, usually tortillas, to make pizza too. So much quicker and easier! Can't wait to try it with naan as these look so good.

What a beautiful pizza! I love the colors. And I'm sure I'd love the flavors as well. I also love the pear shape. I can't get enough naan, so this sounds perfect for me.

I'm glad you said it because I immediately thought, This would be nice on pizza dough... But I'm thinking naan would also be very nice and super-convenient if you're using store bought.
