Nowadays tomatoes are available all year round, but they taste the BEST with their intense flavour and aroma when in peak season. This is a simple and lovely summer salad, Neil.

This is wonderful, and perfect for my garden fresh tomatoes. I love the onion in the salad. Iโ€™d probably use a potent olive oil like a Kalamata oil. Love it.

What a fun and easy recipe, Neil! We actually have a bunch of cherry tomatoes (that's the only thing I planted this year...well, and herbs), so I've been looking for a way to use a bunch of them quickly. And we have some leftover onion in the fridge. Perfect timing!

I'm glad my subs for tomatoes made you laugh Sherry. I'm not sure why though considering this is a TOMATO and onion salad and I was offering other tomato based suggestions. I mean feel free to use capsicums instead but you might want to change the name of the recipe then too though! ๐Ÿ™‚
