Well folks, I mentioned in the previous vegetarian quorn cottage pie recipe that Lady Lynne and I are off for a short break to Oban. We’re meeting up with some Australian relatives who have made it over to Scotland, and whom we haven’t seen since our wedding three years ago. Plus we’ll be visiting the Oban Distillery. Be sure to check back next Thursday for an update!

And with that being said, and my leaving you with these 4 easy healthy dips to make, I’ll also be taking a break over the next few months and adopting a summer recipe posting schedule, once a week, every Thursday. This will allow me to do some essential “blog maintenance” in the background, which will provide a better user experience for you all!

Have a great weekend, don’t forget to check out thinking out loud and I’ll catch up with you next week! 🙂

  1. Hummus <3 The ultimate dip….that I never actually ever use as dip 😛

Ha ha ???? My favourite I think is the red pesto one! Although that changes frequently!

  2. GIMMMMMME all the Oban. Or the dips. Or both. I want them all and I don’t care if I sound greedy!

    • neil@neilshealthymeals.com says:

Oh I think you would want to be in Oban with Lynne and I now! Hope to get some pics of the Manse we’re staying in at the moment! It’s amazing.???? Just had afternoon tea on the lawn.

  3. We haven’t bough dips in years, as they are just so east to make at home. Roasted red pepper is always a favourite with us, as is hummus of course.

    • neil@neilshealthymeals.com says:

Absolutely and the home made ones last ages in the fridge too! Plus I can’t believe all the crap they put in shop bought dips. I mean if you compare my minimal ingredients Hummus to the list of ingredients on a shop bought one it’s unbelievable! ????

  4. I’m a huge dipper lover! Tzatiki is one of my favorite dips but for some reason I never think to make it at home.

Yeah it’s been so challenging to fit work and blogging together that something had to give so it’s going to be one weekly post for a while. And I’ve got some SEO stuff I need to do too.

Oh well there’s never a dull moment eh? Fun in Oban though! ????
