FAQ's
How Many Calories Are In Lamb Burgers?
There are 426 calories per burger.
Do I Need To Add Breadcrumbs?
Yes. Don't skip the breadcrumbs. They help bind the mixture together and lock in moisture. Otherwise your burgers might dry out during cooking.
Can I Cook Lamb Burgers In The Oven?
Yes. Place them on a greased baking tray and cook for 20 minutes at 180°C Fan, turning halfway through.
Can I Grill These Homemade Lamb Burgers?
Yes. Cook under a medium grill for around 8–10 minutes each side until fully cooked through.
How Do I Know When Lamb Burgers Are Fully Cooked Through?
The burgers should be browned on the outside. The juices should run clear. I always cut one in half to check, the center should be a brownish-grey with no raw pink.
Can I Freeze Homemade Lamb Burgers?
Yes. You can freeze the uncooked patties, individually wrapped for up to 3 months. Or you can freeze cooked lamb burgers, again individually wrapped. Defrost either fully before cooking.
How To Reheat Cooked Lamb Burgers?
Wrap the defrosted cooked lamb burgers in foil and reheat in your oven at 160°C Fan for 10-15 minutes.
What Should I Serve With These Easy Lamb Burgers?
Serve on toasted buns, on a bed of lettuce and tomato with the burger patty topped with a slice of cheese and sliced red onion. Chips, additional salad or roasted vegetables to accompany work well.
