Breakfast banana boost is a super easy overnight oats recipe which will give you that much needed boost in the morning. And set you on the right course for the day!

Two bowls of a breakfast banana boost one in front of the other.

Here’s a healthy option breakfast recipe that I call breakfast banana boost.

It doesn't take longer than 5 minutes to measure out all the ingredients and mix them up in a bowl ready for the morning.

It's similar to my version of Bircher Muesli, in that it needs to be made the evening before, and stored in the fridge overnight.

This way the oats have time to absorb the liquid and the banana flavour, which is what gives you the "boost" in the morning!

Two bowls of breakfast banana boost. An easy overnight oats recipe decorated with bananas.

How To Make This Breakfast Banana Boost

    • Put all the ingredients go into a medium sized bowl / casserole dish, the night before you want it for breakfast.
    • Refrigerate it overnight.
    • Take it out of the fridge in the morning and decorate with fruit of your choice.
    • I like it with some more banana slices and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Yep, I am 100% there with you Carla. 🙂 Isn't it so much easier to have a relaxing morning with this pre-made the night before? Sets you off in a better mood for the day I think!

I just had overnight oats this morning and I love the idea of putting a banana in to sit overnight! I usually just throw one on top so I can't wait to try it!

Thanks for your comment Kelly! 😀

There's something about putting the banana in the oats overnight. The flavour from the banana just seems to permeate through the whole dish!

I can guarantee that if the bowl were real, you wouldn't be staring at it for quite so long, as you would have scoffed it down.

You are right Gigi it really is deliciousness! 😀
