Imagine waking up to the delightful flavour of banana bread without any of the baking.
Folks, this healthy breakfast banana overnight oats recipe actually tastes like banana bread!
It doesn't take longer than 5 minutes to measure out all the ingredients and mix them up in a bowl, ready for the morning.
It's similar to my version of Bircher Muesli, in that it needs to be made the evening before, and stored in the fridge overnight.
This way the oats have time to absorb the liquid and the banana flavour, which is what gives you that much needed "boost" in the morning!
Plus, you'll love how the natural sweetness of the banana melds with the creamy oats, creating a breakfast that's both nourishing and indulgent.
This healthy make ahead breakfast only requires a handful of ingredients.
You can easily make this overnight oats banana breakfast recipe your own by changing / varying the toppings. There's no limit of flavour combinations!
Overnight oats are cheap to make. You can easily make these the night before and take them to work with you saving you thoe cost of buying a breakfast.
You'll also love that there is hardly any washing up involved here because you can mix everything together in the same bowl!

I often make this and it's delicious! I don't recommend leaving it too long in the fridge though or the bananas go off-color!
