    Strawberry vanilla overnight oats are an easy to make quick and healthy breakfast. It takes just 5 minutes to prepare for a delicious pre-made breakfast all ready for you in the morning!

    Folks, when it comes to breakfast, we all need quick and easy don't we?

    Life is hectic enough so who wants to wake up even earlier just to have time to prepare a healthy breakfast in the morning?

    Not me. So this is where these strawberry vanilla overnight oats fit in perfectly.

    All you have to do is place all the ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine. Cover with cling film and place in the fridge overnight.

    Let the oats sit overnight, absorbing all the delicious flavours and an easy breakfast is ready for you in the morning.

    Not only are these overnight oats tasty, but they're packed with fibre and protein and will keep you satisfied until lunch!

     Strawberry Vanilla Overnight Oats Recipe

    These strawberry overnight oats are so creamy and delicious kids love them!

    For a thicker and creamier consistency you could add in a tablespoon of chia seeds into your bowl before placing into the fridge.

    In the morning if your oats are too dry or sticky just add a little milk or some low fat Greek yogurt.

    Equipment

    • Kitchen scale
    • Measuring jug
    • Measuring spoons
    • Wooden spoon
    • Chopping board
    • Kitchen knives

    Ingredients

    • 120 g porridge oats
    • 250 ml skimmed milk
    • 125 g fresh strawberries chopped + 60g for decorating
    • 5 tablespoon no fat strawberry yogurt
    • 1 tablespoon runny honey
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    Metric - US Customary

    Instructions

    • Place all ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine. Cover with cling film and place in the fridge overnight.
    • In the morning remove from the fridge, stir well, remove to two bowls and decorate with reserved chopped strawberries.

      Oh wow - So so excited about y'alls trip and cannot wait to hear about it - I haven't been to Hawaii but have been to SF and cannot wait to hear what y'all did and ate there!
      Speaking of eating - Neil, it's been so long since I had overnight oats - and this bowl is making me think this needs to happen pronto!

      Overnight oats are so friggin' great for people who need to rush out of the house in the AM - you're so right. And these remind me of Quaker Oats Strawberries & Cream a little, ha! However, much healthier and better because they're made from scratch! 😉

        Thanks GiGi. I can't remember the last time I had a bought breakfast cereal. I'll need to look into Quaker oats strawberries and cream. It could be a new recipe idea! It could compliment the Strawberries and cream smoothie alreadh here on the blog in the smòthies section.

        Oh and LA is stiĺl on the bucket list so maybe you just might get paid a visit one day from us both! ????
